By experts with many years of practical experience
Our experts have many years of practical experience in testing electrostatic systems, particularly in painting and surface technology. We carry out tests in accordance with the requirements of the German Industrial Safety Regulation (BetrSichV) and relevant EU directives and technical rules. The protection of people and equipment—against fire, explosion, electric shock, and uncontrolled electrostatic discharge—is at the heart of our work.
Legally compliant audits for maximum protection
We use calibrated high-voltage measuring devices to achieve reliable results.
The inspections are carried out on the basis of legal provisions (§§ 14–16 BetrSichV), DGUV Information 209-052, relevant EU standards, and the Technical Rules for Operational Safety (TRBS 1201 and 1201 Part 1). Regular verification of plant safety not only ensures compliance with the legal framework, but also guarantees long-term insurance coverage.
Testing of electrostatic systems in painting technology and surface technology
- Regulated in Europe by EU Directive 2014/34/EU regarding minimum health and safety requirements and implemented in German law via the Industrial Safety Regulation and Hazardous Substances Regulation.
- For personal and equipment protection (fire, explosion, electric shock, electrostatic discharge)
- To maintain insurance coverage
- Support with system design
- Testing based on legal requirements, applicable EU standards, and technical regulations
- Performing tests with special calibrated high-voltage measuring devices (visual inspections are not sufficient!)
Inspection before initial commissioning and periodic inspections
- Fundamentals: Sections 14, 15, 16 of the Industrial Safety Regulation
- DGUV Information 209-052 – Electrostatic coating
- EU standards for the relevant areas
- TRBS 1201 – Inspection of work equipment and installations requiring monitoring
- TRBS 1201 Part 1 – Testing of systems in potentially explosive atmospheres
System inspection in accordance with BetrSichV by experienced experts
In addition to testing prior to initial commissioning and periodic inspections, we also provide support during the system design phase—from planning to technical acceptance—thus ensuring maximum safety and operational continuity.
